STRCUU Project Inception Meeting and Launch
The Inception and Launch meeting was held on 20th November 2025 from 1000-1330 East at the Ndejje University Main Campus in Luwero, Uganda. It was a blended meeting involving physical and virtual attendance. Key Highlights include;
The Vice Chancellor of Ndejje University, the STRCUU Coordinating University pledged to adhere to the accountability procedures outlined in the Grant and Partnership Agreement and tasked the implementing teams to ensure strict compliance.
The consortium was urged to leverage on existing programs to support curriculum development, training, research and community outreach by the universities. Ndejje University and Soroti University were tasked to deepen engagement for Internationalization of their universities by building networks within and outside Uganda and respond to upcoming Erasmus, Horizon and Intra-Africa Academic Calla, amongst others. This calls for strategic partnerships that would strengthen their universities' research, training and outreach programs and in so doing promote the sustainability of the STRCUU Action Results and trigger new initiatives
